Invite a User

Allowing Access To Ark

Inviting A User

In order for a person to access Ark, they first must be authorized. This authorization is given (most likely) in the form of a code by a user that already posses authorization.

To invite a new user into Ark

  1. First ensure the both the user and the invitor are associated with the same region.
Users can only invite others in to their own region (East-East, West-West).
  2. Click on Manage Access on the left menu bar.
  1. Click on Invites on the "Manage Access" page.
  1. Click the "Create Invite Code" button.
  1. In the popup, select the following options:
  • The role you wish the create an invite code for. See Ark Roles
Be careful not to over assign someone a role
  • How many times the code is allowed to be used (redeemed).
By default, an invitation can only be used once but can be changed with the "Change" button
  • How long the access the code grants lasts. Standard Access Term Lengths
  1. Share the invite

Ark will generate an invitation code that is valid for as many uses as allowed in the previous step.\

In this example, the invite code is 244 369 393 7051

If a user enters the invite code, their account will be granted access to Ark as a member of the region that the invitor the code is a part of and under the role set by the invitor.

In this example, as the invitation was for a Student Rep, access the invitation code will grant will expire after 2 years from the time the invite code was generated.
This can be changed in Step 5 prior to generating a code to fit the needs of users.

Note: You can only invite users to a role at a lower or same access level as you. Access Level Hierarchy

Users assigned to SFC America or are the National Director are able to invite someone to any region
